This certificate is designed to allow candidates to demonstrate the knowledge required to successfully perform tasks and comply with legislation involved in performing static works on dual carriageways. The candidate will be able to understand how to install Temporary Traffic Management measures across a dual carriageway. The candidate must properly demonstrate an understanding of equipment specifications for 12AB lane closures, as well as safe working practices for dual carriageway Temporary Traffic Management.
The unit teaching will typically take place over the course of one day
3x one-day Live Assessments are required in order to fully evidence the criteria needed to attain a 12AB qualification. A minimum gap of 14 days is required between each Live Assessment attended.
Successful completion of this certificate will award the candidate with a 12AB award at the 'Skilled Worker' level.
