This course is aimed at people who require the knowledge and practical skills needed to enable them to safely operate and maintain a Materials Re-handler 360.
We will conduct a learner analysis to identify the duration of training required for those with limited or no experience, whereas experienced operators can attend a one day Experienced Worker Assessment.
Understanding the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and responsibilities as a plant operator
Understanding the manufacturer's handbook for the 360 Material Re-Handler
Locating and identifying major components of the machine and explaining their function
Locating and identifying key controls and explaining their function
Conducting all pre-operational and running checks in accordance with manufacturer's and legislative requirements
Identifying and maintaining PPE appropriate for 360 Material Re-Handler
Safetly mounting and dismounting the 360 Material Re-Handler
Starting and stopping the micro excavator safely and moving the machine off to bring it to a safe stop
Configuring the machine for travel and manouvring it safely across varying terrain, in both open and confined areas
Conducting all necessary safety checks at the work area
Manouvring the 360 Material Re-Handler to the work area and correctly configuring the machine in readiness to carry out processing tasks
Carrying out processing tasks
Loading material onto transporting vehicles, containers or processing plant
Fitting and removing attachments
Demonstrating understanding of loading and unloading procedures for machine transportation
Carrying out all end of shift and shut down procedures
This course can be delivered at our venue near Portsmouth or at your venue if you have the required space and equipment.
