This course teaches you how to operate a rear tipping dumper safely and productively.
We will conduct a learner analysis to identify the duration of training required for those with limited or no experience, whereas experienced operators can attend a one day Experienced Worker Assessment (Test Only).
Understanding the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and responsibilities as an operator
Understanding the manufacturer's handbook for the rear dump truck
Locating and identifying major components of the machine and explaining their function
Locating and identifying key controls and explaining their function
Conducting all pre-operational and running checks in accordance with manufacturer's and legislative requirements
Identifying and maintaining PPE appropriate for rear dump truck use
Conducting all necessary safety checks at the work area
Preparing the rear dump truck for use and operating machinery safely and efficiently
Understanding environmental conditions
Understanding loading and unloading procedures for machine transportation
Carrying out all end of work and shut down procedures
This course can be delivered at our venue near Portsmouth or at your venue if you have the required space and equipment.
